Well, there are some minor news to tell.
I added some SPS/LPS (corals) from Robert to the reef.
Robert is currently in the process of redesigning his reef and wanted to get rid of them.
They develop fine, changing colour a little, adapting to the low nutrient environment.
They all extend polyps during day and night, as they should.
They brought some few Glasroses with them where some are still to be killed. Will do it the next days.
I will show you some pictures the next days after Glasroses treatment, when they took the place, they deserve.

Finding a ‘moonlight’ with 6 blue LEDs on eB**, I bought and installed it.
As light turns of totally at night, the tank is only very dim-lighted by the two T8 bulbs in the
tankroom, which light the algaefilter.
Maybe there is no benefit for the coral and fish, but its nice to look at the 6 lightcones in the reef at
night, not looking at the black ‘wall’ anymore.

Viele Neuigkeiten gibt es nicht,
einige neue Korallen von Robert sind eingezogen.
Robert gestaltet derzeit sein Becken komplett neu und suchte so ein neues Zuhause für die Tierchen.
Sie entwickeln sich durchaus zufriedenstellend und ändern ihre Farben durch die Adaption an die nährstoffärmere Umgebung ein wenig. Die Polypen sind tags, wie nachts expandiert, wie es sein soll.
Die eine, oder andere Glasrose ist dabei mit eingezogen und wird in den nächsten Tagen umgebracht.
Wenn die Korallen dann auf ihrem endgültigen Platz stehen gibts auch wieder nen paar Fotos
(innerhalb der nächsten Woche).

Bei eB** hab ich nen “Mondlicht” gefunden, das aus 6 blauen LEDs besteht.
Wenn das Licht nachts komplett aus geht und das Becken nur noch ganz leicht von den beiden T8-Röhren über dem Algenbecken beleuchtet wird, war es doch recht unansehnlich an die schwarze “Wand” zu schauen.
Jetzt sieht man die 6 Lichtkegel der blauen LEDs im Riff, was doch deutlich hübscher ist.
(Keine Ahnung, obs einen positiven Einfluss auf Fische/Korallen hat, zumindest auf mich hat es den ;-).
